Zapping the brain to restore aging eyesight?
NCT ID NCT07208318
Summary
This study investigates whether age-related vision problems are caused by disrupted brain wave patterns. Researchers will use personalized, non-invasive brain stimulation on 240 older adults to try to restore these patterns and improve visual abilities like contrast sensitivity and 3D shape perception. The goal is to understand the brain mechanism behind vision decline and test a potential intervention.
