Zapping the brain for better focus? study tests new ADHD approach

NCT ID NCT04175028

Summary

This study tested whether a mild, non-invasive brain stimulation technique could temporarily improve focus, working memory, and impulse control in adults with ADHD. Researchers compared 83 adults with ADHD to healthy volunteers, measuring changes in computer-based thinking tasks. The goal was to understand how the ADHD brain responds to stimulation, not to provide a lasting treatment.
