First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests if a precise, minimally invasive surgery (stereotactic aspiration) can improve outcomes for people with severe brain stem bleeding compared to standard medical care. The trial will enroll 300 adults with large hematomas and severe symptoms. The main goal is to see if the surgery leads to better recovery and less disability three months later.
