Scientists test Two-Drug attack on tough brain and solid tumors
NCT ID NCT02142803
Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and best dose of a new oral drug, MLN0128, when given with the existing cancer drug bevacizumab. It is for adults with recurrent glioblastoma (a type of brain tumor) or other advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal is to see if this combination can slow tumor growth by blocking different pathways the cancer uses to survive.
