Scientists scan brains to crack Addiction's code

NCT ID NCT01036685

Summary

This study aimed to create and test new computer tasks to use during brain scans, helping researchers understand how drug use affects thinking and decision-making. Researchers worked with 525 volunteers, including both people who use drugs and those who don't, to develop these tasks. The goal was to build better tools for future research into addiction treatments, not to test treatments directly.
