Scientists hunt for better brain disease scans
NCT ID NCT06083467
Summary
This study aims to test and improve new brain imaging techniques (PET scans) to better detect specific proteins linked to several neurological diseases, including Parkinson's disease and certain dementias. Researchers will enroll about 94 participants, including people with these conditions and healthy volunteers, across multiple U.S. medical centers. The goal is to gather data to help develop more accurate tools for future diagnosis and research, not to provide direct treatment to participants.
