NCT ID NCT07014592

First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at how the brain reacts to small electrical signals in people with epilepsy that doesn't get better with medication. Researchers will use special electrodes placed during brain surgery to record the brain's response. Only 5 participants will take part, all of whom are already scheduled for surgery to remove the part of the brain causing seizures. The goal is to better understand brain activity, not to test a new treatment.
