Simple balloon trick after stroke could help patients walk again

Summary
This study tests a new, simple procedure done right after doctors remove a blood clot from the brain in severe stroke patients. The procedure involves briefly inflating and deflating a tiny balloon to gently restore blood flow, which may prevent extra brain damage. About 288 to 448 adults who had a large-vessel stroke will take part. The goal is to see if this technique helps people recover better and live more independently three months later.
