Brain boot camp: can computer games heal ICU Survivors' minds?

NCT ID NCT04353804

Summary

This study is testing whether a computer-based brain training program can help people who have survived a stay in an intensive care unit (ICU). Many ICU survivors struggle with memory, focus, and daily tasks like managing medicine. The research will compare the brain training program to regular computer games in 160 adults who recently left the ICU, to see if it improves their thinking skills over a year.
