New attack on deadly cancer spread: radiation meets spinal injection

NCT ID NCT06376292

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of whole-brain radiation and a chemotherapy drug injected into the spinal fluid is safe and effective for treating cancer that has spread to the lining of the brain and spinal cord. About 58 adults with this condition will receive the combination treatment while continuing their main cancer therapy. Researchers will closely monitor how well the treatment works and its side effects.
