New study aims to find better radiation option for brain metastases

Summary
This study compares two radiation treatments for people whose cancer has spread to the brain (but not from melanoma). One is stereotactic radiosurgery, which targets tumors precisely with a high dose. The other is whole brain radiation, which treats the entire brain with lower doses over several sessions. The goal is to see which better controls tumors and causes fewer memory and thinking problems. About 88 adults with 4 to 15 brain tumors are taking part.
