NCT ID NCT01737606

First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tested a new ultrasound method called Fast Cerebral Pulsatility Imaging (FCPI) to measure tiny brain movements caused by blood flow. Researchers studied 53 healthy adults to see how these pulsations change from young adulthood to old age. The goal was to better understand normal brain aging, not to treat any disease.
