New scan could replace risky brain pressure surgery
NCT ID NCT07151287
Summary
This study aims to find a safer way to measure dangerous pressure inside the skull after a head injury. Researchers will test if a simple bedside ultrasound scan on the eye and head is as accurate as the current method, which requires surgery to place a monitor. The goal is to provide doctors with a reliable, non-invasive tool to help care for patients without additional risk.
