Brain stiffness could reveal dangerous pressure without needles

NCT ID NCT03096743

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of MRI scan, called MR elastography, can accurately measure high pressure inside the skull. Researchers are comparing this scan to other non-invasive methods like eye imaging and ultrasound to see which is best at detecting the problem. The goal is to find a better, less invasive way to diagnose conditions like idiopathic intracranial hypertension.
