Summary

This study watches 30 older adults (65+) having lung surgery with one-lung breathing to see if drops in brain oxygen affect their thinking and pain afterward. Researchers measure brain oxygen during surgery and test memory and pain levels for a week. The goal is to learn how to better protect brain function and manage pain in elderly patients.
