Scientists scan teen brains to unlock secrets of thinking skills
NCT ID NCT06868966
Summary
This research study aims to understand how the brain's insulation system, called myelin, affects thinking skills during adolescence and young adulthood. Researchers will use MRI brain scans and thinking tests on 128 healthy participants aged 10-25 to see how brain development relates to problem-solving abilities. The study doesn't test treatments but seeks basic knowledge about how the brain matures during these important years.
