Scientists tune into the Brain's beat during weight lifting
NCT ID NCT06539650
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the brain and nervous system adapt when people do strength training with a rhythmic beat. Researchers compared different pacing methods during a single workout session in 30 healthy men. They measured brain and muscle signals to see if adding natural, variable rhythms could speed up the nervous system's learning process, which might be useful for injury recovery.
