Scientists shine light on how exercise affects the brain and muscles in lung disease
NCT ID NCT07285642
Summary
This study aims to understand how different types of exercise affect oxygen levels in the brain and leg muscles of people with COPD. Researchers will use special light sensors to measure these oxygen changes in 60 participants during walking, strengthening, and breathing exercises. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors design safer and more effective exercise programs for people with this lung condition.
