Scientists scan brains to unlock metabolic disease secrets

NCT ID NCT06709846

Summary

This study uses detailed brain scans (MRI) to understand how metabolic diseases affect the brain. Researchers will compare brain images from people with metabolic conditions to healthy volunteers, looking for differences in structure, function, and chemistry. The goal is to identify brain patterns that relate to body weight, fat distribution, and disease progression over time.
