Silent scans: hunting hidden brain cancer in breast patients

NCT ID NCT05115474

Summary

This study aims to find out if regular brain MRI scans can detect cancer that has spread to the brain in patients with advanced breast cancer who have no neurological symptoms. Researchers will enroll 170 patients with stage IV breast cancer to see how often these scans find hidden brain tumors. The goal is to understand if early detection through screening leads to better treatment options and outcomes.
