Doctors test High-Tech brain monitors to spot hidden stroke risk during heart operations
NCT ID NCT07202689
Summary
This study aims to see if using several types of brain monitoring together can help predict which patients are at risk of having a stroke during or after heart surgery. Researchers will observe 369 patients who are already at high risk for stroke. The goal is to gather information that could lead to better brain protection strategies during surgery, but this study itself does not test a new treatment.
