Can a Baby's brain waves predict their future? new study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07393620
Summary
This study aims to understand if early brain monitoring can help predict which newborns with mild oxygen deprivation at birth might face future developmental challenges. Researchers will observe 30 newborns, monitoring their brain activity and oxygen levels during their first 3 days of life. They will then check the children's development at 18-24 months old to see if the early readings were linked to later outcomes.
