Old pain drug gets new shot at fighting cancer in the brain

NCT ID NCT02429570

Summary

This is a small pilot study to see if meclofenamate, a drug previously used for pain, can help control cancer that has spread to the brain (brain metastases). The study will involve about 30 adults whose brain metastases have returned or worsened. The main goal is to see if it's practical to run a larger trial by checking if patients can stay on the drug and get follow-up scans.
