Can Same-Day scans make brain radiation more precise?

NCT ID NCT07132190

First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether doing radiation planning and treatment on the same day can better target fast-growing brain tumors. About 60 adults with brain metastases from solid cancers will be randomly assigned to receive radiation with a very small or no extra safety margin. The main goal is to see how often the tumor has moved beyond the planned treatment area by the time treatment starts.
