New scan aims to solve brain cancer mystery: is it tumor or treatment?

Summary

This study is testing a new type of combined PET/MRI scan to help doctors better tell the difference between a brain tumor growing back and harmless changes caused by cancer treatments like radiation or immunotherapy. It involves about 30 adults with brain metastases who have already had radiation. Participants will have one special scan that takes about 3 hours.
