New drug combo tested to fight cancer that spreads to the brain

Summary

This study is testing whether two different drug regimens can help control cancer that has spread to the brain and is growing again. One group receives a drug called palbociclib, while a second group receives palbociclib combined with an immunotherapy drug, pembrolizumab. The goal is to see if these treatments can shrink or stop the growth of brain tumors and are safe for patients.
