New brain cancer fight: radiation first or drugs first?
NCT ID NCT07234877
Summary
This study aims to find the best initial treatment for patients with lung cancer that has spread to the brain but isn't causing symptoms. It will compare starting with precise radiation to all brain tumors followed by a new drug (ivonescimab) plus chemotherapy, versus starting with the drug and chemotherapy right away. The main goal is to see which approach better controls the cancer in the brain for longer.
