Summary
This study is testing whether placing tiny radiation seeds during brain surgery can prevent tumors from growing back in people with recurrent brain metastases. Researchers are comparing this approach to standard surgery alone to see which works better at controlling the cancer. The study involves 103 adults who need surgery for previously treated brain tumors that have returned.
