New scan may solve brain tumor treatment mystery

Summary

This study tests whether a special PET scan called Axumin can help doctors tell the difference between actual tumor growth and a temporary reaction to immunotherapy in people with brain metastases. About 20 adults on immunotherapy will receive the scan. The goal is to improve treatment decisions and avoid unnecessary procedures.
