Scientists probe Brain's memory control center

NCT ID NCT06540976

Summary

This study aims to understand how a specific part of the brain, called the posterior cingulate cortex, helps us use our memories to make decisions. Researchers will work with up to 130 patients who are already having their brain activity monitored as part of their treatment for epilepsy. They will use this unique access to measure brain signals and test how different sub-areas of this region are involved in memory-based choices.
