Summary
This study tests whether a drug called diazoxide can lower the amount of sugar the liver makes by activating control centers in the brain. It includes 100 people—some with type 2 diabetes and some healthy—to see how this affects blood sugar levels. The goal is to better understand how the brain and liver work together in diabetes, not to provide a treatment.
