NCT ID NCT06920992
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at how brain damage from strokes affects a person's ability to plan, focus, and switch between tasks—skills known as cognitive control. Researchers used brain scans (MRI) and electrical recordings (EEG) to compare healthy adults and stroke patients. The goal was to understand which brain networks are critical for these thinking skills, not to test a treatment.
