NCT ID NCT05217043

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at how children's brains process language as they grow. Researchers will record brain activity from children (ages 2-20) who already have electrodes implanted for epilepsy monitoring. While listening to stories, their brain signals will reveal how the brain combines words into meaning. This is an observational study only — no treatment or medication is tested.
