Scientists test if brain insulin spray changes how exercise affects immunity
NCT ID NCT06552130
Summary
This study aims to understand how insulin acting in the brain influences the immune system during physical activity. Healthy, lean young adults will complete exercise bike tests on two separate days—one day after receiving an insulin nasal spray and another day after receiving a placebo spray. Researchers will compare blood samples and performance measures to see if the brain insulin changes immune responses to exercise.
