Summary
This study aims to better understand the process of taking patients with acute brain injuries off mechanical breathing machines (ventilators). Researchers will observe 1,500 adult patients to see how they fare during this 'weaning' process and what outcomes they have. The goal is to gather detailed information to help doctors make safer and more effective decisions for future patients.
