Searching for clues to free brain injury patients from ventilators

Summary

This study aims to understand and predict when patients with a sudden, severe brain injury can be safely taken off a breathing machine (ventilator). Researchers will observe 406 adult patients who are on a ventilator due to their brain injury. The goal is to gather information to create better guidelines for doctors, helping them decide the right time to remove the breathing tube.
