Summary
This study is testing whether an intravenous hormone called allopregnanolone can help reduce depression and pain in veterans who have had a mild traumatic brain injury. 132 participants will receive either the hormone or a placebo infusion, and researchers will track changes in their symptoms. The goal is to see if this treatment can improve how people feel and function after a brain injury.
