New program aims to bridge care gap for hispanic kids with brain injuries

NCT ID NCT05261477

Summary

This study is testing a bilingual support program designed to help Hispanic children with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and their families. The program provides education and a personal guide (a 'navigator') to help parents manage their child's care after leaving the hospital. Researchers want to see if this extra support helps families keep up with important rehab appointments and improves the child's recovery and school performance.
