New program aims to break the cycle of brain injury and re-incarceration

Summary
This study tests a program called the Reentry Continuum for Brain Injury (RCBI) for prisoners with traumatic brain injury (TBI) who are about to be released. The goal is to help them avoid returning to prison and reduce violent behavior. 102 participants will be randomly assigned to either the RCBI program or standard services, and researchers will track their progress for three years after release.
