Virtual reality reveals hidden walking struggles after brain injury
NCT ID NCT07230002
Summary
This study aims to better understand the walking and navigation difficulties people face in everyday life after a moderate or severe brain injury. Researchers will compare how 40 participants (half with brain injuries, half healthy) navigate complex virtual environments that mimic real-world situations like walking on a busy street. The goal is to identify specific challenges that standard walking tests might miss, which could lead to better rehabilitation approaches.
