Summary
This study tested a handheld device called the Infrascanner to see if it could quickly detect when a brain bleed is getting worse. Researchers enrolled 399 patients with traumatic brain injuries to compare the scanner's speed and accuracy against standard hospital monitoring. The goal was to see if this tool could help doctors identify dangerous changes sooner and improve patient care.
