Can exercise supercharge memory recovery after brain injury?
NCT ID NCT05716048
Summary
This study is testing whether adding supervised aerobic exercise to a proven memory training technique helps people with moderate-to-severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) improve their ability to learn and remember new information. Researchers will enroll 60 adults with TBI-related memory problems to compare the combined program against memory training alone, measuring changes in memory tests, brain scans, and daily life function over 12 weeks. The goal is to find a more effective rehabilitation approach to help people with TBI manage memory challenges and improve their independence.
