Scientists search for blood clues to unlock brain injury mysteries
NCT ID NCT07292766
Summary
This study aims to understand the chemical changes in the body after a severe traumatic brain injury. Researchers will compare blood samples from 60 adults with severe brain injuries to samples from people with other serious injuries but no brain trauma. By analyzing these chemicals, they hope to learn more about how the brain is damaged and potentially find ways to predict recovery in the future.
