Searching for clues in spinal fluid to predict a Child's brain recovery
NCT ID NCT07241858
Summary
This study aims to find biological markers in blood and spinal fluid that can help doctors predict how children with encephalitis (brain inflammation) will recover. Researchers will measure two specific proteins in 90 children aged 1 month to 18 years who are hospitalized with the condition. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better future care, not to test a new treatment.
