New brain scan aims to unlock mysteries of head injury
NCT ID NCT06963775
Summary
This study aims to test a new type of brain scan to see if it can better detect and measure traumatic brain injury (TBI). Researchers will compare brain activity in 215 adults with TBI to healthy adults using a device that combines magnetic stimulation and EEG brainwave recording. The goal is to see if this new scan can spot differences and correlate with symptoms, potentially leading to better diagnosis.
