Scientists map safety of new brain inflammation tracer
NCT ID NCT06398392
Summary
This study aimed to measure the radiation exposure and body distribution of a new imaging tracer called [18F]PBR111. The tracer is designed to light up brain inflammation in scans for diseases like Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis. Six healthy volunteers received the tracer and underwent whole-body scans to see where it went and calculate the radiation dose to different organs.
