Brain scans probe the mystery of long COVID 'Brain Fog'
NCT ID NCT05656105
Summary
This study aims to understand if brain inflammation is causing the neurological symptoms of Long COVID, such as brain fog and fatigue. Researchers will use a special type of brain scan (PET scan) to compare brain activity in 60 people with Long COVID to healthy volunteers. The goal is to gather knowledge about the condition, not to test a treatment.
