Scientists scan brains to find Depression's inflammatory roots

Summary
This study aims to understand if brain inflammation is linked to major depression. Researchers will use special PET brain scans to measure levels of two inflammation-related enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) in 64 adults with depression and healthy volunteers. The goal is to gather knowledge about depression's biology, not to test a new treatment.
