Summary

This study aims to understand how the immune system responds in the brain after a severe stroke treated with skull-opening surgery. Researchers will compare inflammation levels in 90 stroke patients who had this surgery to patients undergoing other brain surgeries. The goal is to describe immune activity patterns without testing any new treatments.
