Scientists scan brains to unlock the mystery of mental illness
NCT ID NCT04159662
Summary
This study aims to understand why people with schizophrenia or depression have trouble with memory and managing emotions. Researchers will use brain scans (fMRI) on 90 participants to see how the brain works during thinking tasks. The goal is to learn more about the brain mechanisms behind these cognitive difficulties, not to test a new treatment.
